Taken from demo "Shattered Illusion" (2021) split EP with DIGGING UP Released by BrutalMind Record BAND INFO: Consumed is a project to unite several death metal musicians from different bands in Tangerang. Put together to produce ammunition that is more dangerous than before, which is different in terms of musical style and concept of lyrics. The result is a demo recording work entitled "Shattered Illusion" which was launched on October 10, 2019, and contains two fierce tracks entitled "Attempt To Shattering" and "World Illusion". The title "Shattred Illussion" itself is assembled from a combination of the first and second tracks. Here, Consumed, driven by Ferlando Sutanto (vocals), Raden Aces (guitar), Yunior Efraim (drums) and Fahmi Turum (bass), brought the old school death metal music style with a touch of modern death metal elements. “The music formula that we present is combining old-school and modern death metal music in terms of (application) of guitar riffs, drums, bass and vocals, and that is a refresher in our opinion. "Our references to musical styles are heavily influenced by (outside bands such as) Suffocation, Cannibal Corpse, Severe Torture, Arsebreed and Deeds Of Flesh," said Consumed. The idea of ​​giving birth to Consumed itself surfaced in early 2018, between Ferlando Sutanto (Decapitate Hatred) and Raden Aces (Decayed Flesh), where both of them sparked a death metal project in addition to the bands they had been working on. As time passed, the personnel increased with the inclusion of drummer Fuad Octrianto (Gorging) and bassist Toto Sutanto (Trapped). However, for one reason or another, Fuad and Toto could not continue their journey with Consumed. When "Shattred Illussion" was still in the form of a guitar and drum program recording, Junior Efraim (Gore Animal) and Fahmi Turum (Severed Entrails) joined Consumed's lineup. Since then, for the sake of smooth recording, rehearsals were carried out several times in order to maximize studio results. Right on March 20, 2021, "Shattered Illusion" with cover art from the work of @aghypura was officially released through a well-known label from jakarta @ brutalmind.idn and this physical work was issued in a split format with @diggingup_iddm.
