YAFED band was formed on December 05, 2018. Yafed is taken from the name Yaphet. Is one of the names taken from the son of the Prophet Noah. They deliberately took a good name. As a paradox that most metal bands use names that are terrible, dark, full of satanic meaning and so on. And with that name they can move towards metal music that is positive, fun, full of criticism but still strong distortion. This group is described as not just a metalcore group, but an art project with a variety of characteristics and musical specifications that differ from each member who explores music to process elements of Rock, Metal, and even Hardcore, but is able to create a beautiful emotion. Even though it had experienced changes in the band's personnel, this band still showed its existence by continuing to create its works. Over the course of 2 years, Yafed completed 9 songs inspired by the political situation and current conditions. While the song "The Wolves Black Flag" itself is dedicated to the fighters for the rejection of political policies that have caused a lot of losses in this era, through this track they also reinforce that their music supports freedom of expression which has been hampered by subjective rules. governance. Now with personnel consisting of Wisnu (vocals), Gepeng (guitarist), Puput (guitarist), Jovi (guitarist), Teddy (bass), Imam (drummer), ensuring that YAFED BAND is ready to enliven the realm of underground music in Magelang and even Indonesia.
