Before using the name Soulsick, the band which was born in early November 1998 used the name Death Fatimah. However, because it was considered less selling, it was finally changed to Soulsick. Throughout his career, Soulsick's internals were often plagued by the process of changing personnel.

With the concept of 'javanese harmonical sickness' where they blend the influences of thrash, death and black plus a little touch of Javanese gending harmonies, Soulsick released a promo recording titled “Gerbang Samudraning Kasengsaran†  which contains four songs, in July 1999. Then in March 2000, Soulsick released single "Throne of The Sun Never Changes" which was later included in "Gerilya Compilation" released by Edelweiss Production. Two months later, they gave birth to a demo album containing seven black metal songs entitled “Silence, Darkness & Eternity†  which is full of gloomy and dark nuances.

Furthermore, the band that opened the Swedish black metal unit's concert, Marduk at Bulungan Outdoor Jakarta on December 12, 2010, continues to produce recordings. Among them are the album "Titian Embun Suci" (2005), the mini album (EP) "Dendam Ujung Langit" (2008), the album "III.XV inovember" (2015) and "In the Legend of the South Sea" (2018/2019). Then on September 1, 2020 released a single titled "Sisa Time" in collaboration with Rins & Iwed, Duo Vocalist from GELAP (Indonesian Progressive Gothic Metal). On March 20, 2022, released another single entitled "Under The Name Of Jazirah Slayur", then re-released a new single on June 25, 2022 entitled "The Sun".
