PERC3PTION is a Brazilian Metal band founded in 2007 by Rick Leite and Glauco Barros, who released their first studio record in 2009, the EP “INSIGHTS”. In 2009, the band moved to Sãopaulo, where they joined Wellington Consoli, Luiz Poleto and Peferson Mendes to release their first full-length studio album on MS Metal Records, “REASON AND FAITH ”, in 2013.

“REASON AND FAITH” addresses obscure themes, which soon stood out for their provocative and controversial content, and for raising complex issues such as the conflict between religion and science. Recorded at Norcal Studios (SP), the album was produced by Edu Falaschi ( ALMAH, ex- ANGRA ), and mixing and mastering by Brendan Duffey and Adriano Daga. the music video for “SURRENDER” was considered one of the biggest releases of the year by critics.

The excellent and growing repercussion of the album, made PERC3PTION perform memorable concerts, some of them sharing the stage with great names in the metal world, such as PAIN OF SALVATION , EVERGREY , SONATA ARCTICA and AMORPHIS. 

In 2015, Dan Figueiredo took ov er the vocals for the release of “ONCE AND FOR ALL”, which in addition to maintaining the characteristics presented in previous releases, took a step further in melody, weight and especially in the emotional aspect of the songs. The band anticipated the new album with the music videos for "MAGNITUDE 666" and "RISE", both directed by Diogo Araújo, from UNDER CONTROL. On this tour PERC3PTION performed alongside SEPULTURA , ANGRA, HIBRIA and others. 

With The Addition Of Kleber Ramalho on Vocals and Alessandro Kelvin on Drums, the group is about to release their third album, scheduled for the second half of 2022.
