MAYYAT is a legendary Black Metal band from Bali which is still active today. Since its establishment in 1997 in Dusun Nagari, Sading Village - Badung, they have consistently carried the theme of darkness with a genre they call "Mystical Balinese Black Metal" characterized by Balinese ethnic pentatonic tones that must color their songs and every time they appear on stage they will always preceded by a ritual.
