#BreakingNews : KILLA THE PHIA, Metalcore Band from Aceh, Wins "WACKEN METAL BATTLE INDONESIA"

KILLA THE PHIA, a metalcore band from Aceh formed in 2008, has won the prestigious "WACKEN METAL BATTLE INDONESIA" competition. The band previously achieved third place in the Supermusic Rockin Battle, making them the only metal band to reach the top eight in 2017's Mighty Eight.

The Wacken Metal Battle is an international music contest held since 2004 as part of the W:O:A (Wacken Open Air) festival. New bands compete in national qualifying rounds, with each country's winner advancing to the grand final at the W:O:A festival. Killa The Phia will now represent Indonesia in Germany, becoming the eighth Indonesian band to perform at the Wacken Open Air Festival.

Killa The Phia will perform at the Wacken Open Air Festival from July 31 to August 3, 2024, alongside international bands from various countries.
