March 12, 2025 – Australian rock outfit PARHELION has officially released their second single, "Diverge," marking another milestone in their musical journey. This highly anticipated track is now available on all major streaming platforms.

Hailing from Lismore, New South Wales, PARHELION was born from a spontaneous idea between two rock-loving dads who saw the need for another band while watching their children’s hockey game. Over the years, the band honed their sound amidst personal and environmental challenges, including bushfires, floods, and the pandemic. The final lineup consists of Oby on drums, Paul on guitar, Joel on bass, and Wardy on vocals, bringing together a powerful fusion of influences ranging from TOOL and Mastodon to Alice In Chains and Deftones.

"Diverge" follows their previous releases, "Banded Eyes" and "Homeland," and showcases the band’s ability to craft dynamic, emotion-fueled rock. With tight instrumentals, gripping melodies, and Wardy’s commanding vocals, the track exemplifies PARHELION’s evolving sound.

All of PARHELION’s music has been recorded, mixed, and produced by Lucius Borich of COG at Keysound Studios in Byron Bay, ensuring a polished and professional sonic experience.

With their debut EP on the horizon and more music on the way, PARHELION is actively gigging and ready to take their sound to audiences far and wide. "Diverge" is just the beginning of what promises to be a thrilling ride for the band and their growing fanbase.
