#BreakingNews : ALIZAM Releases New Single “The Withered” Ahead of Upcoming Album

Atmospheric doom metal collective ALIZAM has officially released their latest single, “The Withered,” on May 31, 2025. Clocking in at 5 minutes and 24 seconds, the track offers a melancholic, atmospheric blend of doom metal and dark folk, delving into the slow decay of memory and spirit.

“The Withered” is part of ALIZAM’s forthcoming full-length album, “Exilium Vitae”—a conceptual journey through themes of exile, repetition, and reflective despair. With this release, ALIZAM has now unveiled four singles from the upcoming album, further deepening their exploration of poetic darkness.


Formed in 2019 by brothers Alireza and Mohammadreza Nasiri, alongside Aidin Mozaffari, Saman Malekinezhad, Kaveh Rezai, and Navid Mosavi, ALIZAM has been forging a distinct sound that merges dark folk with atmospheric doom metal. Their 2023 debut EP, “Taedium Vitae,” laid the foundation for their haunting musical identity.

As anticipation builds for the release of Exilium Vitae, “The Withered” stands as a somber and powerful chapter in ALIZAM’s evolving sonic journey.
