Bali’s death metal force ERUPSY roars back into the spotlight with their latest single “AMARAH”, reaffirming their relentless spirit and proving that the Island of the Gods is still burning bright in the Indonesian metal scene. Following their 2021 full-length album "Kaum Muak" and two singles "Black Martyr" and "Psychopath Diary" released between 2021 and 2023, this new release brings a fresh wave of ferocity.

“AMARAH” is more than just a song — it’s a political statement inspired by Indonesia’s heated political climate. The track tells the story of a powerful, arrogant woman embedded within the circle of political elites, manipulating everyone around her — using the innocent as pawns, forging alliances and betrayals as tools of survival, and stopping at nothing, even revenge, to secure power for herself and her descendants.

Not only will "AMARAH" be available on all major digital streaming platforms, but ERUPSY is also preparing an official lyric video and music video to be premiered on their official YouTube channel.


About ERUPSY: Formed in January 2014, ERUPSY emerged from Bali’s underground scene blending the raw ferocity of old-school death metal with modern elements and crushingly heavy tunes. Despite several lineup changes over the years, the band has remained steadfast in their mission. Their critically acclaimed debut album "Kaum Muak" was released under Sadist Record in 2021. Beyond their releases, ERUPSY also contributes to the local scene through their annual event "Volcano Show," providing a platform for Bali’s underground bands.

Now, with “AMARAH,” ERUPSY continues to fuel the flames of Bali’s death metal underground.
