Surabaya, May 25, 2025 — Indonesian Death Metal outfit Martyrs has officially released their latest single, “Al-Kazzab Akbar”—a furious, symbol-laden apocalyptic narrative that delves into the rise of the one-eyed deceiver, Dajjal. This release marks the opening chapter of their forthcoming debut album, slated for release later this year.
“Al-Kazzab Akbar”—Arabic for “The Great Deceiver”—is a musical outcry born from the band’s unease with the modern world, saturated with deception and hollow glorification. The song paints a bleak picture of humanity willingly abandoning their conscience to worship illusions, while truth is distorted and lies are revered.
“This track represents our rage against an era drifting away from authenticity,” the band states. “It’s a sign of what’s to come—the emergence of Al-Kazzab Akbar, a symbol of spiritual collapse and the rise of Dajjal, the deceiver, the embodiment of ultimate falsehood.”
Standing as a declaration of defiance, “Al-Kazzab Akbar” serves both as a warning and a reflection—a descent into decay, not for surrender, but for understanding and resistance.
