Bali-based metal band MENACE. has officially released what is being called their final song, "Tourniquet", now available on all major digital platforms. As previously teased through their Instagram account, this track marks a powerful and visceral culmination of their musical journey—merging raw emotion with modern metalcore intensity.
Blending sonic influences from acts such as Darkmatter, Alpha Wolf, Dealer, Graphic Nature, Diesect, and Northlane, MENACE. injects their own identity into the track, delivering a sound that is both heavy and deeply emotional. “Tourniquet” pushes beyond genre conventions, offering an unfiltered look into the darkest corners of the human psyche.
"Tourniquet is a rare experience for the ears," the band states. "It dives into themes of pain, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts—like the aftermath of a brutal breakup, but far more vulgar, disgusting, and hurtful. It portrays the internal chaos that follows when someone runs away from the consequences of their actions instead of facing them.”
Despite coming from diverse musical backgrounds—Shoegaze, Hardcore, and Deathcore—the trio united under a shared vision to create something beyond their roots. Their music, heavily inspired by their favorite artists, represents a new chapter for modern metalcore, aiming to resonate with listeners not only in Bali but across the globe.
The members of MENACE.—Dhiyo Adhyasa (vocals), Giknoizeorigins (guitar), and JP (bass)—extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported them. While “Tourniquet” may be their last release for now, the band promises that this is not the end of their story.
