With a name symbolizing rebirth and self-realization, NUMANI embodies the spirit of resistance through sound, forging a sonic identity that blends crushing grooves, mechanical distortion, tribalistic rhythms, and searing emotion. Their latest single, now streaming on all digital platforms, serves as both a battle cry and a dirge for those disillusioned by society’s decay. Simultaneously, NUMANI has dropped a compelling music video on their official YouTube channel, visually translating their cold, mechanized aesthetic and raw emotional volatility.

Heavily influenced by titans such as Slipknot, Rammstein, and Fear Factory, NUMANI constructs a brutal wall of sound from down-tuned guitars, haunting electronics, guttural screams, and tribal percussion—engineered chaos executed with razor-sharp precision.

Formed in late December 2022 by guitarist Rawe, NUMANI is a genre-bending force united by musicians from various scenes and cities:

  • Rase (vocals) – Veteran black metal vocalist from Surabaya’s underground.
  • Rabban (drums) – Hardcore scene mainstay with fierce percussive power.
  • Rayuy (bass) – Gothic metal musician rooted in Central Java’s scene.
  • Rappan (guitar) – Screamo artist, replacing the departed blues guitarist Raku.
  • Rawe (guitar) – Acoustic session player turned riff-wielder.

Former member Rattan (percussion), known from the reggae scene, contributed during recording but departed before release.

With diverse backgrounds converging into a singular vision, NUMANI fuses aggressive metal with socially conscious themes and eerie visuals to deliver a multi-sensory assault that both unnerves and awakens.
