Surabaya-based Death Metal band DECROWN has released their second single, “Buried Alive”, on September 7, 2025.

The track delves into themes of deep disappointment and prolonged frustration, symbolizing the act of burying one’s trust in everything life presents. “Buried Alive” portrays a rejection of hollow promises of justice that only create voids within existing inequalities—closing eyes and ears to ideals that fail to resonate.

Musically, DECROWN stays true to their foundation: groovy patterns, relentless blast beats, and dense, aggressive, yet dynamic guitar and bass riffs. However, this single introduces a fresh layer through the contribution of Sari Asyera (GAS, ex-Kendat) as the fill-in vocalist, delivering a distinct and powerful touch that sets “Buried Alive” apart from the band’s previous work.
