Indonesian rock outfit LABARUGI makes a bold statement with the release of their debut full-length album, Persetan Rokenrol. Containing 10 powerful tracks — including “Leave The World Behind”, “Persetan Rokenrol”, “Raja Kobra”, “Hanyut”, “Let’s Ride!”, “Membakar Surga”, “Menggenggam Bara”, “Sepi”, “Lawan”, and “Akhir Pekan Milik Kita” — the record captures the restless spirit and raw emotions the band has carried since their formation in 2021.

True to its title, Persetan Rokenrol channels anxiety, sadness, and imagination into electrifying rock anthems filled with screams, riffs, and boundless energy. LABARUGI doesn’t just present songs; they deliver a cathartic release, validating listeners’ struggles and urging them to scream along in defiance.

Formed at the end of 2021, LABARUGI — comprised of Rifakmen (vocals & guitar), Aji (guitar), J’estque (bass), and Arya (drums) — began their journey in the underground with little concern for exposure, sharing songs casually on SoundCloud. By 2023, their hunger to return to the stage grew undeniable, leading to this explosive debut release.
