#BreakingNews : LEANDRO ABRANTES Unveils Comic Book and Debut Single “Chrono Vapórium ΔT”

Brazilian musician and composer Leandro Abrantes has officially launched his solo project with the release of “Chrono Vapórium ΔT” — a debut single that merges music, storytelling, and visual identity into an immersive steampunk-inspired universe.

The track is directly tied to Abrantes’ own comic book, Chrono Vapórium, which unfolds in a dystopian Victorian setting where steam rules the cities, time is treated as currency, and choices weigh heavily on the human spirit. “In life, some moments are like songs; some just pass, while others leave a mark, like the weight of time and the decisions that insist on following us,” reflects Leandro.

Produced entirely independently, the single was composed, recorded, and mixed by Abrantes himself. The raw and powerful vocals of João Noleto (Vocifer) add emotional intensity, while Fernando Cavalli and Eder Silva Guckert handled the mastering, giving the track both clarity and weight.

“Chrono Vapórium ΔT is part of an expanded narrative, where sound, tragedy, and social critique intertwine in a steampunk tale about time, greed, and its price,” explains Abrantes, who is also known as co-founder of Hell Yeah Music Company, a Brazilian PR agency for Rock and Metal bands.

The comic book and the single work in unison: while the graphic novel showcases a world of smoke, gears, failed inventions, and haunting characters, the soundtrack breathes life into the atmosphere, carrying listeners through the mist and mechanical pulse of the story.

This is only the beginning. Like the concept of ΔT — the variation of time — Abrantes hints that the project will evolve: “New editions of the comic book and new songs may emerge at the right time, at the ΔT that proves necessary.”
