Sukabumi-based rock outfit SUN U SEE has officially released their new EP “Last Illusion” on September 3, 2025, through Sidik Jari Records.
Formed in late 2023, the band—consisting of Reza (vocals & guitar), Rival (guitar), Bobby JP (bass), and Panji (drums)—has steadily built a loyal following through their live performances and independently released singles. “Last Illusion” marks their boldest statement yet, a five-track EP that captures raw emotion, from defiance against social pressure to poetic ballads that echo memory and loss.
> “‘Last Illusion’ isn’t about image or trends. It’s purely our personal experiences turned into songs. We want listeners who feel alone to know that there’s a voice out there listening to them,” SUN U SEE expressed.
The EP’s tracklist includes:
1. Anthem of the Youth – A call to break free from burdens of right and wrong and keep celebrating life.
2. Dancing in the Fire – A critique of destructive cultural patterns.
3. This is What You Will Feel If You Dare to Try It – A stark warning about social pressure disguised as solidarity.
4. Taktik Jitu – A satirical take on manipulative games in nightlife.
5. Cigarettes Smoke Swirl – A poetic narrative of memories fading like cigarette smoke.
About SUN U SEE
Hailing from Sukabumi, SUN U SEE delivers a mix of raw energy, catchy guitar hooks, and reflective lyricism. Founded by Reza and Rival, later joined by Bobby and Panji in mid-2024, the band’s name pays tribute to National Hero K.H. Ahmad Sanusi from Sukabumi. Their sound draws from the early 2000s Garage Rock Revival and Post-Punk Revival, infused with local spirit and deeply personal storytelling.
