[Malang, Indonesia] – The Samo has officially released their long-awaited EP titled “Enigma”, an immersive musical odyssey unveiled on September 13, 2025, coinciding with the band’s ritualistic live debut performance at Fest For Music.
The four-track EP delivers a haunting narrative centered on a pilgrim whose humble quest to find the finest clove in the world transforms into a sacred mission — to restore the nearly ruined land of Samogolt. Once a flourishing kingdom, Samogolt now suffers under decay and despair, with its fate resting in the hands of the pilgrim guided by subconscious whispers from the guardian spirit, Stygian.
“The sound design in our latest EP creates an eerie atmosphere with whistling tones that support the mystical theme,” explains Silly Grime.
