#BreakingNews : From Avant-Garde to Extreme Metal: Bizarre Bathtub Battle Unleashes the Single “Xpace Invaders”

Brazilian musician Ernane Laranjo — known for his work with Soturn and as one of the pioneers of Avant-Garde Metal in Brazil — returns with his experimental project Bizarre Bathtub Battle, releasing the explosive new single “Xpace Invaders.” This track builds upon the project’s self-titled debut, amplifying its chaotic brilliance with a heavier and more aggressive sound.

Born from Bizarre Bathtub Battle’s unique DNA, “Xpace Invaders” takes the listener through a labyrinth of distorted riffs, unpredictable transitions, and a fierce critique of today’s so-called modern visionaries — those who turn failure into innovation, vanity into strategy, and empty promises into headlines. As Ernane sharply states:

“In the end, it’s all a circus — and you are the clown in the audience. Or worse, the worker who set up the tent and still pays for a ticket.”

Blending Avant-Garde Metal, Jazz Swing, Big Band, and touches of psy trance, dark cabaret, and extreme metal, the project stands as a daring rebellion against musical conformity. Among its key influences are Diablo Swing Orchestra, öOoOoOoOoOoOo, Stolen Babies, Pin-up Went Down, and Pryapisme — all known for their eccentric sonic experiments.

Entirely conceptualized, composed, performed, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Ernane himself — even the artwork — Bizarre Bathtub Battle is a pure expression of artistic autonomy and surreal creativity.

The project’s debut EP, scheduled for 2025, promises to further expand this bizarre and theatrical universe — where chaos meets artistry, and the absurd becomes sublime.
