#BreakingNews — VESTED Unleashes Their Second Single “BUNGKAM,” A Raw Outcry Against Abuse of Power

Denpasar-based Metal/Hardcore unit VESTED has returned with a fierce new release. On November 15th, 2025, the band unveiled their second single, “BUNGKAM”, a track born directly from vocalist Merta’s anger and disappointment toward those who misuse power or religion to oppress and silence the truth.

“BUNGKAM” channels pure defiance. It is a statement against hypocrisy, manipulation, and the exploitation of the vulnerable. Through this single, VESTED declares their refusal to stay quiet—aiming to shut down the deceivers who have misled and oppressed others for far too long.

Formed in June 2025 in Denpasar, Bali, VESTED consists of Merta (vocals), Wahyu (guitar), Bayu (guitar), Tude (bass), and an additional drummer. Their musical identity blends Metal and Hardcore with a modern, aggressive touch that refuses to conform to either genre’s purity, creating a fresh and distinct sonic character.

“BUNGKAM” follows their debut single “DESTROY PUNISH RESIST (DPR)”, and further cements VESTED’s commitment to using music as a platform for expression, resistance, and truth.

With this release, VESTED solidifies their presence as one of Bali’s boldest emerging voices—unyielding, outspoken, and unafraid to confront injustice head-on.
