SANTIAGO, CHILE — April 24, 2026 — Chilean metal force PRIMITIVO has officially released their new single “Antiguos Demonios” (Ancient Demons), now available across Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, and all major digital platforms. Marking the beginning of a new chapter for the band, the track delivers a savage dose of uncompromising Death Thrash Metal fueled by crushing riffs, relentless rhythms, and dark lyrical intensity.

Described by the band as a declaration of war, “Antiguos Demonios” dives into the vengeance of evil against good and the darkness carried within. PRIMITIVO channels that concept into a violent sonic assault, forging a track that feels raw, aggressive, and unchained.

“This song is a declaration of war. ‘Antiguos Demonios’ speaks of the revenge evil holds against good. We wanted it to sound like chains breaking right in your face,” the band states.

The single was produced by drummer Roberto Limonao, mastered at Home Studios Club Silencio, and features cover artwork by Luis “Chicho” Escobar, visually capturing the brutality and sinister imagery embedded in the song.

Formed in Santiago, Chile in 2005, PRIMITIVO continues to solidify its place within the Chilean metal underground. The current lineup features Luis (Chicho) Escobar (vocals), Rodrigo Velásquez (bass), Mauricio Aguilera (guitar), and Roberto Limonao (drums). With Antiguos Demonios, the band reinforces its identity through a sound rooted in pure aggression and old-school extremity.

Serving as the second preview of an upcoming full-length release, the single also signals more to come, with live performances and an official music video reportedly in preparation for the coming months.
