Irish alternative rock/metal project WHITEROOMNIGHTMARE has officially announced the release of its brand-new single, “Blue To Black,” arriving worldwide on April 17, 2026, via Horus Music Ltd.
Serving as the fourth and final single from the project’s highly anticipated third album, “Blue To Black” explores a deeply emotional and cinematic concept. The track is written from the perspective of an astronaut departing Earth to begin a new life on the Moon—reflecting on a loved one left behind. The narrative draws a poetic parallel between their relationship and the eternal gravitational dance between Earth and the Moon, drifting together beneath the Sun’s light.
WhiteRoomNightmare is the solo venture of Northern Ireland’s self-taught musician Paul Anketell, who has steadily built a reputation for crafting emotionally resonant and musically rich compositions. Since debuting with The Way Of All Things? in 2021—praised for its cohesion and quality—the project has continued to evolve.
The 2022 EP First Impressions Last showcased addictive riffs and melodic intensity, while the 2023 full-length Heart Mind Devil Sea further cemented WhiteRoomNightmare’s identity with its emotionally charged and thought-provoking sound.
