#BreakingNews : MAGNAR Unleash Debut Single “Smoldering Vim”

Emerging from the underground rock scene of Bandar Lampung, Indonesian Stoner Rock outfit MAGNAR officially announce their arrival with the release of their debut single, “Smoldering Vim.”

Formed in 2023 within an arts-based student activity unit at a private university in Bandar Lampung, MAGNAR consists of Nyo (Vocals & Guitar), Yehuda (Bass), Rama (Guitar), and Rizki (Drums). The band channels heavy fuzz-driven riffs, raw emotion, and rebellious energy into a sound deeply rooted in the spirit of Stoner Rock.

Released in November 2025, “Smoldering Vim” explores themes of anger, frustration, and the painful realization of being trapped in manipulative relationships or destructive situations. Through crushing grooves and emotionally charged songwriting, the track ultimately transforms that darkness into strength — delivering a message about breaking free, reclaiming authenticity, and living beyond control.

With this debut release, MAGNAR introduce themselves as a promising new force from Lampung’s growing underground music movement, bringing intense emotion and hypnotic heaviness into the Indonesian rock landscape.
