Bandung-based Neo Visual Kei unit have officially entered the scene with the release of their debut single, “Sleep in Design,” available on all digital streaming platforms since May 19, 2026.

Blending the crushing intensity of Modern Metalcore, Djent, and Thall with the theatrical aesthetics of Visual Kei, NECROVYNE present themselves not merely as a band, but as a bold new movement pushing Indonesian Visual Kei toward a more global and modern identity.

What makes NECROVYNE especially unique is their cross-city formation and fully remote creative process. The lineup consists of Aldy (Vocals) from Cimahi, AsWe (Guitar) from Bali, Dai (Bass) from Sukabumi, and Shina (Drums) from Bandung. Despite the geographical distance, the band crafted both their music and visual concepts collaboratively through remote production, transforming distance into part of their artistic identity.

“Sleep in Design” delivers a powerful sonic contrast between massive clean choruses and savage screams, layered over low-tuned Djent and Thall-inspired guitar structures. The result is a dense, cinematic soundscape that captures the essence of a new generation of Visual Kei.

Lyrically, the track explores the internal conflict between humanity’s light and dark sides, moral tension, and the eventual acceptance of one’s inner darkness. NECROVYNE convey this emotional narrative through a multilingual approach, incorporating Indonesian, English, and Japanese lyrics to strengthen both their emotional reach and international presence.
